Easter Greetings

Jadon`s Superhero Party

This year my son has been all about the superheroes.  I don't think he can pick a favorite one.  He seems to be always changing his mind on that topic...so we decided to include all of them for his sixth birthday.
Jadon was set on having superheroe edible image cookies and figures on his cake so we made sure to include those.  Also included in his dessert table were rice krispie squares, cake pops, oreos, macarons and cherry cheesecake..a favorite it seems!  {It is one of my favorites too}
The cake was a decadant chocolate cake on one tier filled with peanut butter buttercream and light and lemony cake on the other with a raspberry fruit filling.  Peanut butter was a no brainer for Jadon's birthday since it is one of his favorite flavors.
This year was his first year of school so he was super excited to invite a few of his closest friends from school.  His birthday guests arrived as their superhero egos and they had a blast playing games such as a superhero obstacle course, pass the kryptonite, and spiderman tag.
Each guest received a superhero pez, tattoos, stickers and a superhero coloring set in their goody bag.
It was a lot of fun to put together but most important, Jadon had a lot of fun and loved everything!
A huge thank you to Juli of Juli Labrecque Photography who did an awesome job capturing all of the snapshots of the party!

Updates and Features!

Hello There!  I have not been here in some time and thought I would stop by and update what has been going on in the past few months.
I have been wanting to update my lil logo and finally took the plunge and freshened up my logo.  In other news I was happily surpised and honored to have my youngest daughter's first birthday party featured on the supercute site Onto Baby and on  A Blissful Nest, a site I have been reading since I first started to blog myself.  Another surprise last month was my oldest daughter's I heart Demi Lovato party was featured on one of my favorite party sites Kara's Party Ideas and on Anna and Blue Paperie who I asked to create the dessert table labels for Janelle's party and Stefanie from Anna and Blue Paperie submitted her party to Kara's Party Ideas...so honored!   I have been so blown away and honored that anyone let alone these sites featured my children's parties.
If you haven't seen the features check out Ava's party on Onto Baby here and on A Blissful Nest
here.  You can see Janelle's party feature on Kara's Party Ideas  here and on Anna and Blue  here.

Sweets I'm Loving: Salted Carmelitas

From salted caramel mochas to salted caramel chocolates I have a thing for the salted caramel combination and mix in a hit of chocolate and I am in heaven!  I spotted these a while ago from Cooking Classy and have yet to make them so this week it is on my to do list.
